Most of the time you’re in Blue Butterfly, you’re in the spreadsheet. The shortcuts below cover everything you need to log without touching the mouse.
Spreadsheet
| Key | Action |
|---|---|
Tab | Confirm edit and move to the next cell (right) |
Enter | Confirm edit and move down one row |
Arrow keys | Navigate between cells |
Esc | Cancel current edit |
Ctrl+Enter | Add a new row at the bottom of the table |
The hint bar at the bottom of the spreadsheet always shows these:
Tab / Enter: Next cell | Arrows: Navigate | Esc: Cancel | Ctrl+Enter: Add row
Tips
- Tab right, Enter down. Once you’re in a rhythm, you can fill an entire row by tabbing across, then Enter to drop to the next row’s first cell.
Ctrl+Entermid-row is fine. Adds a new row at the bottom regardless of where you are. Keeps you typing.- Esc is forgiving. If you start editing a cell and don’t want to commit, Esc bails out without changing the value.
